As Albania’s international connections have grown over the past several years, so has the interest of people around the world to learn more about Albania and to keep updated with the latest events inside the country and the surrounding areas.
The concept of publishing an English language newspaper in Albania was a result of Albania’s continuing internationalization. More and more Albanians are speaking English, in schools, business and government and in order to communicate with the rest of the world or travel outside the country it’s a virtual necessity. Our purpose is to provide comprehensive weekly coverage of what’s happening in Albania and the Balkans.
We’re not only targeted at Albanian English speakers though. We also want to provide a service to foreigners working in Albania, those in non-governmental organizations, business travelers and tourists so they can learn what’s going on and understand the country and its citizens better.
