TIRANA, April.16 – “Dossier Caritas/Migrantes” will provide pensions to more than 300.000 immigrants living in Italy, 10 percent of which allocated to Albanians. Until 2020 1 out of 26 resident immigrants will benefit from the scheme which addresses the economic situation. The Roma Observatory has conducted a demographic study which projects the migrant population to benefit from pensions to be around 315525.
The allocation of funds will be done on a regional basis where in the first place is Lombardia (65585), followed by Lazio (54320), Emilia Romagna (30050), Veneto (27890), Toscana (25695), Piemonte (22090) and Campania (19345). Basilicata, Molise and Valle d’Aosta will have an average of 1000 pensioners benefiting from this scheme.
Immigrants included come from Ukraine with 35445 beneficiaries followed by Albania with 30525, Morocco (25970), Romania (25735), Poland (21410) and the Philippines 16380.
