APS Bank to open a branch in Albania

TIRANA, April 24, – The Maltese APS Bank is considering opening a branch in Albania, according to a local newspaper there. The Malta The independent newspaper reported that the APS Bank president E.P.Delia had said that this year the bank was planning to open branches in Albania and Romania. The bank is known for assisting those clients who have less financial chances, or in other words poor stratum of the societies. The APS Bank is among European Catholic banks aiming at making investment in electronic sphere, small credits and collective communities development. That follows its mission and also because of the links with the Italian Banca Popolare Etica. Seventeen commercial banks operate in Albania.
