TIRANA, Feb. 5 – A report of Europol has shown that the Albanian mafia is one of the five main ones in Europe.
The Albanian organized crime ranks high together with the Italian, Belgian-Dutch, Russian, African and others, according to the French media. That makes them a serious problem to European police, especially in drug traffic.
Albanian mafia, in collaboration with the Turkish one, is also high on organizing human trafficking and prostitution, but they are specialized in heroin traffic, according to the report.
