TIRANA, Sep. 13 – Police arrested two persons who allegedly were selling narcotics in capital Tirana.
Saimir Zija Xhafa, 22, and V. Xh, 15, both Tirana residents, were arrested last week Friday while selling pot. They were found with 2.53 kg of the drug.
Mario Festim Avdiaj, 20, was arrested in capital Tirana after police found 0.8 grams of cannabis sativa in his car.
In another operation police arrested two persons — Euklid Agron Zanaj, 21, and Bruno Hader Shametaj, 22, after the first was caught with 44.2 grams of cocaine.
Fighting drug trafficking remains a top priority to Albanian police.
