TIRANA, March 8 – Police reported they had arrested Ardjan Halili, 41, in an operation codenamed Koordinata (Coordination) in capital Tirana.
Halili was wanted after Gjirokastra district court had issued an arrest warrant for him on trafficking drugs.
Fighting drug traffic and use is a main topic in the daily agenda of all law-enforcement authorities in the tiny Balkan country.
In another operation in Kavaja police arrested two persons sequestering four kilograms of cannabis sativa and also accusing them of a series of thefts in capital Tirana.
Two more persons were declared at large.
