TIRANA, Jan.15- The main financial donors to Albania, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the German bank KfW and the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Issues have released a public letter to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy, Genc Ruli. The letter is a critical assessment of the lack of a concrete plan for dealing with the energy crisis, a request made last November during a meeting with the donors. They argue that the lack of such a plan sends a negative signal and does not offer any guarantee for their investments. The donors have increased pressure on the administration to present a final plan for energy.
