The new road connecting the southern cities of Lushnj롡nd Fier was inaugurated Friday. The project was carried out by modernizing an existing segment of the road and by laying off a new one. Its reported length is 22 km. The construction has lasted for nearly 4 years. The Cooperation for Development of the Italian Foreign Ministry bestowed 21 million Euros to finance the project, which was part of the nine projects of infrastructure development the Cooperation for Development is engaged in Albania.
