TIRANA, Feb. 8 – Police report that they have found more mixing material used in the production of cocaine at a storage place in Durres.
Police said the other material found there is similar to that found at the cocaine-producing laboratory in Xibrake, Elbasan last month.
The storage in Durres was a car repair service.
Last month police proudly reported the arrest of nine persons, including Ermal Hoxha, the grandson of the communist dictator Enver Hoxha on suspicion of belonging to an international criminal ring that smuggled cocaine from Colombia to Western Europe.
The arrests followed a raid on a cocaine-processing laboratory, where police seized 120 kilograms of the drug, drug mixer, cash and weapons.
