TIRANA, June 30 – Interior Minister Lulzim Basha called on all police structures to be more present and tougher in the country’s roads, that have seen an increased number of accidents during the last few days.
Such an increase has become normal at this time when hundreds of thousands of Albanian immigrants come back home for vacations.
The minister also asked road police forces to better coordinate their efforts with the local and central authorities throughout the country.
Police have made a restructuring of their organization and have increased the sophisticated equipment. The minister asked for better performance and also respect of the code of ethics and the laws.
