The famous director in Macedonia stages “Balkan express’ of Stefan ȡpaliku

According to the project forum theater, the famous Macedonian director, one of the most famous persons of the theater in ex-Yugoslavia and also well-known in Europe, Vladimir Milicin started the work in Skopje to stage the dramatic play of Albanian writer Stefan ȡpalliku “Balkan express.” Milicin is known even in Tirana with his drama play in 1995 “The death of Danton”. “Balkan express”, this dramatic play based on the motive of a Russian medieval fairytale, had the premiere in 2005 in Tirana, as a production of the Tirana theater for children directed by Alfred Bulatofi. This play was also translated in Bulgarian language in 2006. Vladimir Milicin is working with a mix staff Albanian- Macedonian, where the stage design will be of Krste Xhidrov, the costumes will be prepared of Marija Popucevenska, the music of Marian Neqkaj. The text will be prepared from young Albania actors: the man will be Xhevdet Jashari, the wolf Hismet Ramadani the goat from Miradije Osmani. The cabbage will be Mlinda Saifi. This project has got the desire that at the end of the premiere, which will be in May, we will have an open discussion between the artists and the audience. The premiere of ‘Balkan express’ will take part in the alternative theatre of Skopje CTC.
