TIRANA, Dec. 6 – Three doctors at the public hospital in southeastern city of Korca face criminal charges following corruption documented by an investigative television show, Fiks Fare.
The show documented how a citizen had paid 20,000 leks to the three doctors to get surgery done.
The three doctors are now accused of abuse of post and passive corruption.
Police also exploited the case to call on the people again to denounce such cases of corruption in whatever institution they may find them.
