To attract Albanian in foreign countries, ProCredit Bank offers higher interest rates for lek/euro deposits

TIRANA, July 23 – ProCredit Bank announced Monday it was offering new interest rates for deposits in Albanian lek and Euro in an effort to attract more money into the country from Albanian immigrants.

From July 16 until September 15 the bank will offer higher interest rates for 1-4 year deposits from hunreds of thousands of Albanian immigrants who live in neighboring Greece and Italy as well as other western countries.

The new offer allows for changing the interest rates of those deposits already in the bank.

The bank also offers smaller transfer rates for immigrants’ remittances.

Immigrants’ family members will also find it easier to receive credits from the bank.

Proredit Bank has more than 125,000 clients with savings reaching 200 million euro in Albania.

ProCredit Bank is represented in 21 countries in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
