TIRANA, March 15 – Two internationally wanted Albanian, aged 28 and 49 have been extradited from Kosovo. Police said the extradition of the two men wanted for murder and trafficking was made on Monday by Interpol Tirana in cooperation with Kosovo authorities. Both men, sentenced in absence, were arrested late in 2010 in cooperation with UNMIK officials in Kosovo.
Gerald Mitre, 28, had been sentenced with 14 years in October 2010 for the stabbing of an Englishman in London back in 2006.
Meanwhile, Isat Metaliaj, 49, has been sentenced to 15 years for prostitution.
