Visa forgers arrested

KORCA, July 21 – Police in the southeastern city of Korca reported they had arrested three persons who forged Schengen visas.
Kostaq Gjoka, 43, Bujar Kuci, 51, and Arben Gusho, 48, were arrested and accused of falsifying documents and passports and other documentation Police found a series of fake documents and tools they used to produce the visas.
They asked for payment of up to 1,000 euros for a visa.
Albania is waiting for a positive answer from the European Union Schengen member countries for a visa-free regime, which will likely come by the end of the year. Meanwhile many Albanians still look for getting across the border with Greece where they can find a job.
