VLORA, Aug. 15 – A 38-year old husband in Vlora set fire to his mother-in-law’s house and consequently its owner and his wife trying to get divorced from him. Dritan Qaniu entered Merita Mustafaj’s apartment by force and beat her before spreading petrol and setting fire to the house. Merita was sent to the hospital with great wounds and her daughter Ermira as well. Ermira, 16, had abandoned Qaniu’s house claiming she could not live with him any more, an act which he did not accept and wanted to return her by force.
