Albanian film, Pharmakon, to make premiere

TIRANA, April 4 – Pharmakon, is the newest Albanian movie production that will make its premiere in Albanian cinemas this month. Directed by Joni Shanaj, a young director making his debut, the movie stars Klevis Bega known as Kastro Zizo in his singing career and young talented actress Olta Gixhari.
“Pharmakon is about a young man’s road to adulthood, the search of truth in difficult time not only in his personal life but also the environment surrounding him.”
The movie is focused on a love story between a young couple at the centre of a patriarchal system which has surrendered to power, corruption and deceit.
Pharmakon unveils the generation gap between the young man and his father.
The movie will make its premiere at the Millennium cinema in Tirana starting from April 12.
