TIRANA, June 19 – Albanian Electro-Power Corporation, or KESH, announced that it had improved collection of money from customers by 4.3 percent.
KESH has been involved in a nationwide campaign, or ‘attack,’ cutting illegal power links to private individuals, companies and also public institutions.
That has resulted in the improvement of its cash collection.
The company’s new head, Gjergj Bojaxhi, has been involved personally in this fight as he has been seen in many towns and other areas. He has also fired scores of technicians who assisted in establishing illegal electric links.
Also, there was a 3.1 percent decreased power loss in the network, which now stands at 29 percent.
