TIRANA, Jan. 22 – Two exhibitions featuring Turkey and the close links to Albania are being displayed at the Fab art gallery in Tirana as part of a project on the Albanian-Turkish intercultural art dialogue.

Titled “From Konstantiniyye to İstanbul,” the first exhibition includes various photographs of the Anatolian shore of the Bosporus from the mid-19th century to the 20th century.

The exhibition unveils numerous moments, images and nostalgic Istanbul photos taken by masters of photography such as Ali Sami Aközer, Félice Beato, Guillame Berggren.

Meanwhile, “I Have a Story,” which is part of the “Young Art from Turkey” exhibition, includes various works belonging to different fields of the arts. The exhibition interprets authentic stories stored in the collective memories of different cultures, while comparing the different lifestyles of the 19th and 21st centuries through lost and regained values.

Held in collaboration with the Tirana Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, , the two exhibitions will be open at the FAB art gallery in Tirana until Feb. 3.
