KUCOVA, Nov. 17 – The ProCredit bank opened Friday a new branch in the central town of Kucova to offer all its services to the local customers there. That takes the number of its branches to 22 countrywise. The new branch aims at covering the whole district of Kucova with some 48,000 inhabitants. Bank officials said that one third of the credit protfolio in the neighboring Berat district belonged to the Kucova residents and that pushed them to open the new branch. Kucova residents have taken loans of more than 700,000 euro from the bank. ProCredit Bank is present in 19 countries from Latin America to Europe. It has offices in Kosova, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Bosnia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Serbi and it supports small and medium sized businesses.
