TIRANA, Nov. 25 – The Klik Ekspo Group launched on Saturday the 13th annual international fair, which will last until Nov. 30. The fair is being held at the Palace of Congresses and the International Cultural Center Arbnori. The fair hosts companies from the country, introducing their typical products and values. There is also a considerable number of companies from many other countries؉taly, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Ukraine, Macedonia, Turkey, Kosova, Belgium, Spain, France, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, China.
The fair was visited Monday by Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who considered it a qualitative step forward in the organization of such fairs in the country. “This fair marks a new qualitative step in the history of fairs, what marks a new qualitative step in the trust into the Albanian market and economy. The presence of serious companies from Italy, Spain, Austria, Turkey, Croatia and other regional countries is a special interest to the Albanian market,” he said.
Spanish Ambassador to Albania Manuel Montobbio and his commercial counselor Agustin Manair Alfonso, both based in Rome, said at a news conference held at the fair that their country was interested in investment in the tiny Balkan country. “Our relations are low compared to our capacity,” said the commercial counselor. Spain is involved in Albania in ceramic tile manufacturing and in the energy sector. The two officials said that their authorities were interested in familiarizing themselves with the projects of the Albanian government, so that they could take part in them. Spain was the fourth country in the world on investments abroad, they said, adding Albania would not be excluded by them.
