TIRANA, Feb.13 – After its weekly auction of T-bills BoA announced that the yields fell on Albanian three-month, six-month and 12-month government securities. BoA auctions government securities on behalf of the Finance Ministry. It offered and sold 3.21 billion leks ($33.3 million/25.6 million euro) worth of three-month T-bills as dealers placed bids worth 4.18 billion leks. The T-bills yielded an average 6.15 percent, down from 6.22percent at the previous auction, held on February 6. BoA sold out its offer of six-month T-bills worth 3.99 billion leks. Dealers placed bids for 4.96 billion leks. The T-bills yielded 7.0percent on the average, down from 7.14percent at the previous auction on January 30. BoA also sold 12-month T-bills worth 4.1 billion leks, equal to the papers on offer. Dealers placed bids for 9.47 billion leks. Yields edged down to 7.65 percent from 7.79 percent at the previous auction, held on January 30.
