Reorganization of commerce chambers complete

TIRANA, March.23 – The Assembly of Albania’s Chamber of Commerce convened to choose its new structure and head figures. 20 members form throughout the country formed a leading board headed by the elected Ilir Zhilla. The organizative reform for these units is complete with their consolidation according to the country’s 12 districts. This reshuffling provides for more efficient institutional capacities as well as more budgetary allowance. New concepts of membership as well as a more friendly approach to the business community are the priorities that the reform promoted. The interest of the private business community, the leading production (80 percent of GDP) and employment force (3/4 of all employed factors) in the country, are the priority of thee organizations that now will work in the context of integration efforts.
