TIRANA, April.9 – KESH is doing all it can to avoid the return of the power crisis- said in an interview for several Albanian media, KESH Executive head Gjergj Bojaxhi. He explained that despite the obvious amelioration of the situation KESH still has to face the inherited problems. The regional energy market has been generous with Bojaxhi, who differently from Beli, has been able to import electricity at much more profitable prices. A new challenge for Bojaxhi is the improvement of the situation in informal suburbs, especially in Tirana where consumers have very low paying record and thus are often punished by the corporation with power rationing. The efficient collaboration of the human resources with the electricity police, is according to Bojaxhi the next step in solving this lingering problem.
