TIRANA, April 25 – The Electro-Electrical Power Corporation, or KESH, has launched a nationwide campaign to cut power to all those consumers who have not paid. As a stating point KESH authorities started in northern Shkodra. KESH top manager Gjergji Bojaxhi was also accompanying the work. The other days technicians were seen in southwestern port city of Vlora where another top KESH official accompanied the process. Power cuts to such consumers have been going on for some weeks also in capital Tirana and other cities. It has come out that many top officials, those of KESH included, were among the indebted consumers. In a clear sign of applying different standards Bojaxhi immediately suspended a top KESH official in Shkodra when learnt he was among the debtors, who also included many politicians and top officials of the city authorities.
