Tirana, Nov. 6 – The American Bank of Albania reported Monday that it had an increase by 30 percent of the transactions with ABAflex, a service it introduced in the market in September. That was a new offer for all its ABAflex customers who would decide to use ABAflex to effect their outgoing transfers, according to a statement. The offer, which is valid from September 1 to December 31, provides for a 10-euro discount on any transfer, of any amount, to any other account outside of ABA. ABAflex users number at about 1200, which includes both corporate and individual users. Customers continue to choose ABAflex because it allows them to carry out majority of their banking transactions directly from the Internet in their home or office computer without having to come in person to the bank. Since ABA introduced its 10-euro discount per outgoing transfer in September, customer transactions have seen an increase of about 30 percent in these last two months and are expected to continue in these levels. By the end of the year ABA is preparing to introduce another innovative product that is linked directly with ABAflex, which will provide all ABAflex users with a new investment opportunity.
