TIRANA, March 10 – Following the government’s decision to suspend flights to northern Italy which included 12 airports, airline companies canceled all flights to Milan, Verona, Pisa, Bologna, Bergamos and Turin on Tuesday. Flights to Rome will continue but at a limited number. Meanwhile, airline company ‘Air Albania’ has suspended all flights to Italy since Sunday, including Rome.
Airline copmany ‘Alitalia’ has already canceled the 15:45 p.m. flight, while Blue Panorama is scheduled to fly to Rome at 16:45 p.m.
Yesterday morning, Tirana International Airport announced that flights to the following 10 Italian airports were suspended:
‘Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP)’, ‘Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY)’, ‘Bologna Airport (BLQ)’, ‘Florence Airport (FLR)’, ‘Genoa Airport (GOA)’, ‘Perugia Airport (PEG)’, ‘Pisa Airport (PSA)’, ‘Rimini Airport (RMI)’, ‘Venezia Airport (VCE)’ and ‘Verona Airport (VRN)’.
Later on, the suspension included two more airports in Turin and Ancona.
