Albania and the progress on the SAA

TIRANA, April 17 – Ministry of Integration has started to monitor the application of the duties of each institutions based on the government plan passed last July. Its aim is to male institutions, or minsitries responsible and aware of the duties they have to fulfill to achieve a middle-term budget for 2008-2010, said a statement. The minsitry said that it had already completed the first stage of monitoring and the second stage will continue until the end of May.Albania signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the Eurppean Union in June 2006, which serves as a first step toward membership in the bloc, though no clear date has been set for the country to turn into a candidate.
