TIRANA, March 25 – The American Embassy in Tirana has called upon the US citizens present in Albania that unless they have prepared for an indefinite stay, they should take all measures to return home. The embassy informs citizens that the land and sea borders are closed and there is currently one Air Albania flight that departs to Istanbul from Rinas and that can connect to US bound flights.
The Embassy announcement makes it clear that that there is no information whether this flight will be available in the short term future.
