TIRANA, April 27 – Now a full NATO member means that Albania has become a better place to invest because there will be more guarantees and confidence for investors.
Albania’s next goal is to become a member of the EU and applied for the candidate status this week.
Post-communist Albania has experienced a lot of changes with major investments primarily in the energy field (at this stage only contracts have been signed) and also an increasing interest in tourism.
This is expected to be just the beginning for Albania which has everything to offer from a stunning coastline, two seas (Adriatic and Ionian Sea), excellent climate, natural resources, rich history and great hospitality.
Albania should fare well on the real estate property market and will increase the re-sale demand for the local market.
Albania Properties a local real estate company, recommends that Albania will continue to offer the best property investments for 2009 and beyond due to a strong local market demand which keeps the market moving.
The Albanian property market is mainly based on local market demand therefore buying and renting apartments (especially in Tirana) is such a fantastic investment.
