TIRANA, April 29 – Seven Balkan aviation companies on Monday signed a letter of intent on their cooperation while in a meeting in Sarajevo, Bosnia. The letter was signed by airline representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary and Kosovo, while European organizations, who provide air navigation services, also took part at the conference. Officials said the Balkan region had huge potential in aviation which had been insufficiently explored. They noted airliners in this region should strengthen cooperation step-by-step. One of the first programs is to try to solve the issue of lack of experts in civil aviation industry in this region.
