TIRANA, Nov. 29 – Lulzim Basha, Minister of Public Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications, held an official visit to Germany. During the meetings, he discussed topics of joint interest like road rehabilitation, construction and other concessionary projects in Albania. The Milot-Rrogozhine highway, the container terminal at the port of Durres, the privatization of vehicle control, bilateral recognition of driving licenses and cooperation in urban planning were some of the topics. German officials expressed their interest in Albania’s infrastructure, roads, and port and railway network. Water irrigation systems are another area of priority for them. They said that they would support urban planning for the Albanian seaside from Orikum to Velipoja. Basha also met with German businessmen.
