TIRANA, March 13 – Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha met Tuesday with senior managers of the Norwegian company Statkraft, which is specialized in the sphere of hydria energy, gas terminals, winds and interconnections. They talked on the country’s possibilities to extend its energy production and its alternatives. Statkraft said they considered Albania a priority for their investment in the Balkans, tough no concrete proposals were made known. Statkraft also said they were interested in the privatization of the KESH. Statkraft operates in 154 hydropower stations in Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and other countries. It is the second company in the world in producing the renovating energy.
