Bozhidar Todorov appointed CEO of FIBank- Albania

Tirana, 9 April 2008. The Bank of Albania (BoA) has announced that Bozhidar Todorov has been appointed CEO of First Investment Bank – Albania (FIBank – Albania). Also, Bank of Albania has complied with the request of the Tirana Branch of the First Investment Bank to take back its operating license. The First Investment Bank requested the revocation of the Tirana Branch because it has already received its final license issued by the Bank of Albania on 6 July 2007. It has complied with all agreements and transferred all activities from the Tirana Brach to its subsidiary, First Investment Bank- Albania sh.a.
FIBank-Albania, a subsidiary of the Bulgarian incorporated First Investment Bank, began operations in Albania in 1999 as a branch of the First Investment Bank. According to FIBank- Albania’s strategy, the financial institution will focus on retail and SME funding.(Tirana Times Staff)
