British Council: Albanian creative business potential is high

TIRANA, Jan.29- Encouraging entrepreneur ideas among Albanian young people has been the aim of a one week training organized by the British Council Albania and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, where a number of young people from all the country have competed for three prizes. The best projects based on creative business ideas have been the recipients of recognition. Head of BC Albania, Joan Barry, explains that two years ago the BC started to promote the idea of creativity in business and the potential it has for the Albanian economy. Hence they started to realize projects with Albanian young people that could later develop to business ideas. Barry says that it is a challenge not to lose the creative potential of these people. The importance of creative business in the world is increasing especially in economies oriented towards the service sector. In the UK business generated by creativity generate 5 percent of the GDP.
