HAS, Sept. 2 -Many fires broken during last summer during July and August in the northern district of Has have burnt 26.7 hectares of forests and pasture costing some millions of leks that have yet to be calculated, according to forest police in the area. In most of the cases there has been the lack of care and sometimes putting them on purpose to turn forests into pasture. Has has a surface of some 45,000 hectares, half of which is covered with forests and pasture. During the last years one-third of them has been damaged from fire or the people cutting it for heating or sale.
