Government reduces number of public employees

TIRANA, March 7 – The government decided Wednesday to reduce the number of its staff in the public institutions by almost 1,600 persons. The decision was taken at a government meeting and then publicized at its web site. That seems to be in line with the government priorities to reduce the number of the public staff and consequently expenditure.
