Health reform to include privatization of key services

TIRANA, March.29 – The new appointed Health Minister , Nard Ndoka has started the reforms in the health sectors with proposals about privatizing certain key sectors like the emergency departments of hospitals as well as hospital transportation services. “These sectors are key because they establish the first contact between patients and our institutions,” Ndoka said in a meeting at Tirana’s largest hospital QSUT. Other possible changes can include the privatization of the hospitality services in the hospitals. Ndoka has also launched the idea of building a new regional Tirana hospital to alleviate the workload
