KESH to privatize its distribution department

TIRANA, Aug. 20 – The Albanian Electro-Energy Corporation, or KESH, has started to work on privatizing its distribution department.

In the process, they are being advised by the International Financial Corporation of the World Bank.

The distribution department will first be separated from KESH, a process that may last up to six months.

Privatization will be occurring after that, though no concrete time has been given.
