TIRANA, April 16 – The Konfindustria association, which groups businessmen, expressed its concern of the increase of the trade deficit by 14 percent in 2006 compared to the previous year, going up to 2 billion euros. Following the closer ties with the European Union member countries they expressed concern many local companies may go bankrupt after they cannot cope with an unfair competition. the chamber of commerce group appealed to the government to pay special attention to efforts to reduce the trade deficit and forget about political fight that serves no one.
