Parliament economy commission keeps local taxes unchanged

TIRANA, Oct 19 – The parliamentary economy commission examined a legal act that regulates the transfer to the local administrative offices of the tax collection for small businesses. One month ago this transfer was said it would be accompanied with lower tax levels and the elimination of simplified taxation on “poor” businesses. The last category would include businesses that reported net annual activity lower than 2 million leks. The commission did not approve these changes.
