Parliamentary committee passes EU aid

TIRANA, Dec. 27 – Parliamentary Economy and Finance Commission passed Wednesday the drat flaw on the ratification of the financial agreement with the European Union for the CARDS 2006 program, which covers a 42.5 million euro aid to the country’s main priorities of its economy. That is an important oar of the Stabilization and Association Agreement which Albania signed in June this year.
The same committee also passed another draft law on the ratification of an agreement with Germany for the financial cooperation. Germany has given a loan of 2.6 million euro and also a grant of 0.21 million euro for Albanian small and medium-size enterprises.
