TIRANA, April 14ؔhe Nabucco Project will top the agenda of the 13th Eurasia Economy Summit to be held in Istanbul in May, according to one of the conference’s organizers.
“The Nabucco Project is one of the topics on top of the agenda of this year’s gathering. The summit will bring together the energy ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia,” said Akkan Suver of the Marmara Foundation Group, which is organizing the festival between May 5 and 7.
The event will also be held with the participation of politicians, diplomats and businessmen from 40 countries, including President Bamir Topi of Albania and President Gjorge Ivanov of Macedonia, Anatolia news agency reported late Tuesday.
Participation in the summit will foster favorable opportunities for those concerned for the future and will establish an intellectual brainstorming platform on important topics, such as energy, economics, intercultural dialogue, the environment and education, the foundation said on its Web site.
Speaking at a news conference Tuesday, Suver said the presidents of Albania and Macedonia, the prime minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a parliament speaker, three deputy prime ministers, 19 ministers and executives from 32 international organizations would attend this year’s summit.
