TIRANA, Oct. 16- Raiffeisen Bank launched a new initiative to offer loans at a lower competitive interest rate to teachers and other employees of the education sector. While for others the common interest rate is 18%, for teachers it will be 16%. The potential benefactors of this new policy are predicted to be the 44 thousand employees of the education sector. The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Education and Raiffeisen Bank, given that the latter is already responsible for the account-based salary distribution of the budgetary employees. The maximum cap of the loans was doubled to 1 million lek and the maturity time of the loan is 5 years.
