Shkodra District promotes its tourism album

Shkodra, March. 7 – A CD containing useful information as well pictures and music form the Shkodra District was launched in order to promote tourism in the area. The CD is a result of collaboration between the District Council and the Swiss Agency for Collaboration and Development (SDC). The CD has been designed to show the most beautiful artistic and cultural and historical values of the city of Shkodra, to the sound of the well known Shkodra folk music. Experts form history, cultural monuments preservation agencies, cultural studies and artists collaborated in preparing the CD named ” Shkodra, Sound Values”, which is available both in Albanian and in English.
The photographs in the CD include precious samples from the Marubi collection, the “Marin Barleti” library and the National Gallery of Arts.
SDC is present in the district of Shkodra with projects assisting decentralization and protection of cultural values.
