The Port of Containers in the bay of Vlor롷ill be given on concession

The Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunication of Albania plans to give the Port of Containers in the bay of Vlor묠on concession. The ministry has invited bidders to participate in a tender concerning the granting on concession of this port for construction, operation and transfer of the Port of Containers to the “Forest of Sod묢 Vlor뮠The last deadline for submission of bids is 15 May 2009. The bids will be opened on that day at The Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunication. Representatives of bidders are invited to attend the opening of bids. The local press (Panorama) informs that the infrastructure building will extend to the industrial zone of the city of Vlor뮠Next to the port, the coast of the “Forest of Sod뢠will also shelter an industrial zone and a free zone.
