TIRANA, July 3 – The municipalities of Durrà«s and Tirana were the last to be added to the list of municipalities where the socialist candidates have won with a higher number of votes compared to the number of voters reported by the Central Election Commission.

Veliaj received 152,220 votes, while the other candidate Arben Skà«nderaj received 9,364 votes – a total of 161,594 votes for both candidates. However, adding all the irregular votes to this figure, it exceeds the (preliminary) participation numbers reported by the CEC.
According to this report, 171,390 voters voted in Tirana, while the over 10,740 irregular votes reported in the 11 municipal units of the city alone have the figure exceed 172,334 votes.
Thus Tirana also results having at least 944 more votes than voters.

Socialist candidate Ervin Demo has so far received 14,451 votes, while the other two candidates have received 844 votes and 871 votes respectively, with a total of 16,166. But
For this municipality, the CEC reported that 14,000 people have voted. So the Socialist candidate won by 103 percent and as the counting process is still ongoing, it is expected that the number of votes will increase.
