World Bank to support food industry

SHKODER, Nov.14 – World Bank organized on Tuesday a seminar for food industry in Albania. The event was organized in the northern city of Shkodra. Participants included businessmen and representatives of the local government of the entire district of Shkodra. The event was supported by the EU project for Technical Assistance. The discussion focused on standards for food safety and the compliance of exporting companies to the rules and regulations related to their activity. The event presented also a case study, part of the World Bank project related to food industry.
