2 Albanians extradited from Italy, others arrested

TIRANA, Dec 8 – Two Albanians wanted in their homeland for committing crimes were extradited last week from neighboring Italy.
Bedri Sula, 35, from Durres district was sentenced in 1999 to 10 years imprisonment for a murder he had committed in 1998.
Klajdi Hasani, 25, from Rrogozhina, had been sought on an international arrest warrant for committing a murder.
At the same time, Albanian police arrested two other persons wanted in the United States.
Fatbardh Shtiza, 36, and Verjon Shtiza, 30, born in northern Shkodra and each holding US citizenships, were wanted by New Jersey authorities for trafficking drugs in collaboration with other persons.
Albania is beginning the process to extradite the suspects to the US.
