On the 7th day of protests against the killing of the 25-year-old Klodian Rasha, the centre of attention switch from Tirana to Durrës, where a group of protesters while holding a coffin, marched peacefully in front of the Police headquarters. On the symbolic coffin were written the words “hope”, “justice for Klodian Rasha”, and also a rhetorical question “who’s next”. The protest which saw the participation of a dozen of participants was ended by the police, which took one of the organizers to the police station.
At the other hand in Tirana, it was the second day in a row without incidents. The police had undertaken a list of measures to prevent any possible scenario of the escalation of the protests. Meanwhile, regarding the allegations of physical conflict and physical violence against the victim by the police, the Prosecution stated that there was no use of physical violence against Rasha, adding that an objective and prompt investigation of the event will soon come to an end.
